Preschool teacher: Cherri Johnson
Educational background:  bachelors from Briar Cliff in art and k-12 art teaching certificate then from Buena Vista an elementary Ed with early childhood endorsement.
Favorite school subject:  art 
My reason for teaching: I teach to share God’s love and serve families  in partnering with them in their child’s growth.
What I enjoy most about Saint Patrick's School: I most enjoy the families and children I serve at St. Pat’s and the Perry community.  They are family!

1st Grade: Amy Smith
Education background:
I went to a small Catholic elementary school in Greenwood, Indiana.  I then transferred to the public school for middle and high school.  I received my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education with a Special Education Endorsement from Indiana University.
Favorite School Subject:
I enjoy reading and studying our language.  I also love art because I get to relax and create during that time.
My why for teaching:
I chose to teach at a Catholic school because in life, Jesus calls us to make disciples.  As a Catholic school teacher, we have the amazing opportunity to do this each day with His children.
What you enjoy most about Saint Patrick's School:
I enjoy being a part of the Saint Patrick's family.  This school is truly a community that raises each other up and leads one another towards Christ.  I see many future saints here!

4th Grade: Jeff Grange
Educational Background: Graduating from Abraham Lincoln High School in Des Moines Iowa in 2010. I went to DMACC Urban Campus from the fall of 2010 and graduated in the summer of 2013. I went to Grand View University from the Fall of 2013 and Graduated in December of 2016.
Favorite School Subject: My favorite subject in school is Social Studies because I really enjoy studying history.
My why for teaching: My reason for teaching is because in school I struggled a lot. I want to help all students especially those who are struggling in school.
What am I enjoying most about Saint Patrick’s School: I enjoy the small atmosphere that creates a community, and the smaller class sizes. I also enjoy having faith incorporated in education. Saint Patrick’s School feels so much like a community, rather than just a place for education.

Education background:  I am an Iowa State University graduate, go Cyclones. I graduated from Iowa State in May of 2014 with my degree in History and a minor in Political Science to get my secondary education degrees for 5-12 All Social Studies along with my K-12 Coaching endorsement.

My why for teaching: The reason I love teaching is I enjoy helping the students find success in the classroom. I want to help give them the opportunity to grow into life-long learners.
What you enjoy most about Saint Patrick's School: I enjoy St. Patrick's School is because in this school it is a family. The students and staff work together to be the best they can be. I have felt welcomed in this family from the first day I arrived 5 years ago.
