Ms. Schuemann is not only the 4th grade teacher, she is also the school's Conversational Spanish teacher for all grades.  She graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in 2011, with a degree in elementary education with an endorsement in mathematics and a Spanish language studies certificate. 
Ms. Schuemann is from Clive and has two brothers.  She loves to read, watch movies, play games, travel and spend time with friends and family.

Reading: We are finishing How to Babysit an Orangutan and wrapping up our theme.

3rd Grade Religion:  We are learning about Lent and Ash Wednesday.

4th/5th Grade Religion:  We are learning about Lent and Ash Wednesday.

3rd Grade Science:  We are learning about different types of clouds.

4th Grade Science:  We are learning about different types of clouds and starting to talk about weather.

5th Grade Science:  We are learning about different types of clouds and starting to learn about weather.

Spanish: All grades are now learning items around the classroom and classroom phrases.

Please remember that students should not be outside at school until 7:55 a.m.  There is no adult supervision until that time.  Students who are eating breakfast here may enter at 7:45 a.m. and go straight to the cafeteria.  After breakfast they should go outside.  We offer a before school child care program that begins at 7:00 a.m.  For those attending this program, you will be charged $3.00 per child, for any child who is at school BEFORE 7:45.
