Mrs. Plathe-6th, 7th, & 8th Grade Math and Science

Mrs. Plathe teaches math and science to sixth through eighth graders. She grew up in Algona, and graduated from Iowa State University in 2006 with a degree in elementary education with an emphasis in middle school and mathematics. She also has a master's degree in curriculum and instruction. Mrs. Plathe substitute taught for the Ankeny and North Polk school districts. She is married to Chuck and they have 4 children. She enjoys reading, going to the movies, and spending time with her family.
